Dr. Susan Crandall is a licensed Clinical Psychologist and a member of the American Psychological Association and the Society for the Scientific Study of Sexuality. She received her doctorate in clinical psychology from Southern Methodist University, where she also completed post-doctoral training in sex therapy. She has researched and written extensively on sexual behavior of all kinds, including women's sexuality, lesbian sexuality, gay and bisexual men's sexuality, and transgender issues

Her work has been published in such publications as "The Journal of Sex Research," "Archives of Sexual Behavior," "The Journal of Sex Research," and "Sexual Medicine." She is a member of the APA Division 44: Mental Health Counselors and Therapists and was elected as a Fellow to the International Academy for Sex Research (IASR). Susan lives with her husband and cat on a small ranch on the Texas coast.
