Steve Mnuchin is a hedge fund and mortgage banker and former Goldman Sachs banker. He is the 53rd United States Secretary of the Treasury. He was nominated by President Donald Trump on November 9, 2017, and was confirmed by the U.S. Senate on his first day in office on November 13, 2017
Mnuchin is also a member of the Business Council, Trilateral Commission and the Council on Foreign Relations.
