Sinan Antoon is a writer and editor, born in Beirut. He began his career in journalism in the 1970s. He is the author of three novels, including Of Time and Dreams, which was awarded the Prix Femina Étranger for best Moroccan novel of the year in 2001. In 2005, he received the Prix des lecteurs from Le Monde newspaper, France's top literary award
He is also the editor of the books: The Secret of Love: Stories of Passion and Passionate Love (2007); A Journey Through Jerusalem (2010); and If I Were Your Woman (2013).
