Born in France, Sina Queyras is a multi-award winning film and television producer. After graduating from the American Film Institute, she worked for several years in the entertainment industry, before turning to documentary film-making. In 1993 she founded Memento Films, which has produced over 20 award-winning documentaries including The Last Train from Berlin, which premiered at Sundance and was nominated for an Academy Award. In 2014, Sina produced the critically acclaimed documentary Camel Power in the Middle East
She received her doctorate in cultural anthropology from UCLA, and is currently working on her next documentary about the women of Iran.
