His poems have been widely published in newspapers and magazines, and his books include "The Redress of Grief", "Scythe", "A Cure for Love", "The White Tree" and "The Blue Notebooks" (with Asif Hussain) all published by Faber & Faber. His poetry has been broadcast by the BBC, the Canadian Broadcasting Company, and Radio Poetry Ireland. He is Poet Laureate of England and Professor of Poetry at the University of Oxford.
