Scott Joffe is an Emmy Award-winning writer and producer. He is a graduate of the University of Southern California's School of Cinematic Arts where he concentrated in screenwriting and began his career as an intern for "The People's Court." He spent a year as a script reader for the Screen Actors Guild before joining the writing staff on "The Drew Carey Show." Scott has been honored twice by the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences for his work on the hit ABC series "Desperate Housewives." His first feature, "Mimic," starring Mira Sorvino, was hailed by critics as one of the best horror films of the year.
