Saskya Pandita, an Indian-born American writer, poet and educator. She is currently professor of Asian American/Asian Diaspora Studies at The University of Texas at Austin. She is also the director of the Asian American Studies Program. Her poetry has appeared in several literary journals, including The Journal of Asian American Studies, Pank, The Indian Express and The Frontier
She received her PhD in English from Columbia University.
