Sarah Swainson is an award-winning Canadian writer who has published five books, including the novel The Stone Road, which was named one of the best crime novels of 2014 by CBC Books. She has won several awards for her short fiction, including the 2013 Cormorant Prize for fiction, and was a finalist for the British Columbia Book Prize. Her short stories have appeared in publications such as Best Canadian Stories, The Canadian Book Club Anthology, Literary Review of Canada, and New Canadian Stories. She teaches creative writing at Simon Fraser University.
