Russell A. Peck, Ph.D., is a former vice president and director of research for the Gallup Organization. He was one of the co-founders of the Gallup Organization's first-ever market research unit, and directed it for thirty years, including its first-ever polls on American attitudes toward Vietnam and the war protests in America. He has been an adjunct professor of public opinion at the University of Pennsylvania since 1988, and a senior fellow there since 1992
