Rubye Armorer is an award-winning author of inspirational fiction. Rubye Armorer grew up in the small town of Piketon, Ohio. Her early writing career began when she was in the eighth grade and wrote for the school paper. After high school, she studied journalism at Ohio University, then transferred to Ohio State University. While she was in college, she met her future husband, John Armorer, who was attending OSU's School of Journalism
They were married September 10, 1976. They have two children: Emma Rose (born November 6, 1977) and Samuel Jay (born August 3, 1979). Rubye is an avid runner and has participated in numerous marathons and half-marathons throughout the country.
