His second collection, "Kodu Raaga", was published in 2011. Romesh's first collection of poems, "Uramakalvaya" (Plant of Destiny), received the Best First Book of Poetry Award from the National Literary Society of Sri Lanka and the first prize at the Commonwealth Poetry Competition for Asia and Oceania. His first novel, "Rangarajan", was published by Chedi Sahithy in 2012.
