Rodney Hall was born in Los Angeles, California on January 14, 1947. He has written and acted in movies such as "The Heartbreak Kid" and "The Last Boy Scout." His first novel, "The Night of the Gypsies," was published in 1985 and won him the American Library Association's Margaret A. Edwards Award for Excellence in Lifetime Achievement of the Mystery Writers of America. He has written and acted in over fifty motion pictures and TV shows
