R.M. Hare is the author of several novels and a non-fiction book, The Philosopher's Stone: Truth, Lies and the Language of Science. He holds a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics and a J.D
from Rutgers University School of Law. He has been a faculty member at the University of Dallas School of Law since 2001, where he teaches courses in criminal law, evidence, and scientific evidence. In addition to his legal practice, he is an international consultant on constitutional law and human rights law in Europe, Latin America, Africa and Asia.
Dr. Hare is currently a visiting professor at the University of East Anglia in Norwich, England, where he develops research projects for organizations such as the European Court of Human Rights and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.
