Pietros Maneos was born in a small village called Rizopigi in the Central Southern Greece. He spent his childhood between his family and friends. Pietros has been a journalist for over thirty years, and is now editor-in-chief of the "Aftetos Newspaper" in Athens. In 1997, he published his first book, a collection of short stories titled Pouhio Fos", which quickly became a best seller
In 2004, he published his second novel, "Kouniades", which was also well received by readers and critics alike. He is currently working on his third novel, "Adyghs Vras".
