Philip Beard was born in the United States. He received a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University at Long Beach and a Masters in Mental Health Counseling from the California School of Professional Psychology. Philip has been a counselor for over 20 years, specializing in PTSD and relationships. He is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor, Certified Consulting Psychotherapist, Board Certified In Brief Therapy, and is a member of the American Institute of Professional Relations Professionals
Philip is currently employed as an Associate Professor at Pacifica Graduate Institute where he teaches courses in psychology and brief therapy.
