Pearl Abraham was born into a wealthy family of physicians and intellectuals in New York City. In the late 1970s she retired from the family business, took up painting full time, and began exploring her creative interests. In 1992, at the age of sixty-three, Pearl Abraham died suddenly from a brain aneurysm. Her paintings were discovered in her studio after she died, and they have since been exhibited at galleries around the world.
The Pearl Abraham Foundation has been established to perpetuate the legacy of this gifted artist and to further her extraordinary vision for strengthening our society's connection to nature through art.
