Olivier Magny was born in May 1959, in Nyon, Switzerland. He lives and works in Paris since 1984 after a long stay in New York. His main subjects are visual exploration, the creation of an imaginary world in the art of painting, photography and digital media. Magny uses painting to explore philosophical questions about being human in an age where the gap between science and religion is shrinking. Magny's work has been exhibited in major galleries worldwide.
