He has been a professional writer since 2010, when he sold his first work to the supernatural/horror genre. His debut novel, The Lost Ones, was published by Simon Pulse in January 2012, and was followed by a sequel, The Lost Ones: Return to Grace, in October of that same year. Nick is a graduate of the University of Kansas and currently resides in Lawrence, Kansas with his wife and two daughters.
