Neville Goddard was a renowned mystic and metaphysician, who was a pioneer in the field of New Thought. There, under the influence of Charles Fillmore, founder of the Unity School of Religion, he began to study New Thought and metaphysics. Soon after, he founded the Divine Discussions Association with its own newspaper. After remarriage in 1946 to Mildred Polster Goddard, he adopted a more spiritual approach to his teaching.
He died on May 8, 1968 at the age of 73.
