Neve McIntosh is a neuroscientist and a writer. Her book, "A Brief History of Time", was a finalist for the 2009 Australian Prime Minister's Literary Award. She has been writing since she was ten years old. Her first novel, "The Love We Share", is set in the present day and tells the story of a couple whose life falls apart because of their addiction to technology
In 2007, McIntosh won the Prime Minister's Prize for Science Writing for her article "The Mind of a Serial Killer" in The Age newspaper. She won the Australian Writers' Guild Award for Non-Fiction in 2005 for her article, "The Truth About Neurofeedback".
