Mohammed Ali Bapir is one of the most popular artists in the Middle East. He has worked with several international artists, including Bob Marley, who visited him in Cairo. Bapir was born in Alexandria, Egypt. He studied art at the Royal University of Fine Arts in Cairo and later at the Academy of Fine Arts in Munich
He painted his first picture at the age of seventeen under the tutelage of his mentor, Taharqa Abul-Nasr, a well-known Egyptian painter. Today he has produced over seventeen thousand pieces of artwork. Mohammed Ali Bapir is currently working on his own album called "Baladi" on which he will sing some of his best known songs.
