Mekael Shane is a writer, filmmaker, and producer. She has worked in the City of Los Angeles for a decade as a film production assistant, working on films such as Lions for Lambs. Her short film, "Love is the Drug," won at the University of Southern California's student film festival. Since moving to New York two years ago, Mekael has been working as a producer and assistant director on several films including "Kaboom" by director David Koepp and "The Invisible War" by director Steve Gubary.
