Max Bill was a German architect and designer, who worked as a designer for Bauhaus and was a student of Mies van der Rohe. In the 1960s, he became one of the most significant architects of his generation. His works include the Guggenheim Museum in New York, the Deutsche Grammophon building in Berlin, and the Deutsches Museum in Munich. His works have been exhibited worldwide
He died in Munich in 1979.
