Martin Schuster was born in Germany in 1894. In 1919 he came to the United States, where he worked as a copy writer, editor and producer for various film studios, radio station and newspapers. He established his own company, Martin Schuster Productions Inc., in New York City in 1930. He was one of the first to use the techniques of radio advertising and also marketed a series of reader's digest books
In addition to his work in radio and television, Mr. Schuster wrote a number of books on the subjects of education, religion, politics and economics.
