Mark Sayers was born in 1968 and spent most of his childhood in the small West Midlands town of Wolverhampton. He studied at University College London, where he gained a first class honours degree in English Literature. Mark is the author of eight novels, including The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon (2005), The Girl Who Played with Fire (2008), and The Girl Who Kicked The Hornets' Nest (2010). He has also written two books for children, The Girl With Blue Eyes (2001) and The Girl With Green Hair (2002)
He lives in London with his wife and two young sons.
