Mark Leibovich is an award-winning journalist and author. He has been a reporter for the New York Times since 1991, and is the author of the books This Town: Two Parties and a Funeral–Believe It Or Not! and The Big Test: One Man, Two Games, and a 23-Year Hunt for American Perfection. Leibovich was born in New York City to a Jewish family; his father was a social worker, and his mother was a social worker for children with disabilities.
