Mark Goddard was born in Lancashire, England, and educated at the University of Manchester. He has written four novels and a collection of short stories. His first novel, "The Storm", was published in 1995 after being shortlisted for three major awards. Since then he has worked as a technical writer before turning to writing full time
He lives in Lancashire with his wife and two sons.
I would have liked it to have stayed serious and have the adventures of a family lost in space. This isn't to take anything away from Jonathan and the Robot. I watch his performance today and he still makes me laugh.Mark Goddard
