Mark Gatiss is an actor, best known for his work in the television series Sherlock and Doctor Who. He is co-creator and co-writer of the award-winning drama series Sherlock, and has also written for other television series including Midsomer Murders and The Hour. His work on the acclaimed mini-series The Special Relationship won him Best Writer at the Royal Television Society Awards in 2011 and his screenplay for the stage play The Man Who Had All the Luck was nominated for an Olivier Award in 2010.
