Marina Leigh Hatfield was born in Louisiana and grew up in Texas. She's worked in corporate America since graduating from college. Marina is a former Air Force reservist, who has served in both the U.S. Army and the National Guard in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom
Marina holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Stephen F. Austin State University, where she graduated with honors. As a senior, she was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa, the national honor society for three-year institutions in honor of her academic achievements, becoming only the third student in the history of Stephen F.
Austin State University to receive the distinction.
