Lynn Nottage is the Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning playwright of Ruined, which won the 2009 Pulitzer Prize for Drama; Sweat, which won the 2012 Obie Award; The Loving Story, which won the 2014 Tony Award for Best Play; and A World of Difference (also winner of the 2015 Tony Award for Best Play). In addition to writing, she has taught at Yale, Columbia, Brown University's Watson Institute for International Studies, and the Yale Drama Department. Her work has been published in The New Yorker, Harper's Magazine, Newsweek, The New Republic , and The New York Times . She lives in Brooklyn with her husband and children.
