Luo Guanzhong (simplified Chinese:  路观中; traditional Chinese:  路視中; pinyin: Lù Guānzhōng) was a late Eastern Han Dynasty novelist, best known for his historical novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms. He was born in present-day Wuxi, Jiangsu province, China, in about 166. He was famous for his writings on warfare and strategy, but did not have much success until he wrote Romance of the Three Kingdoms. After which he became well known for his history of China called Zhan Guo Ce (漣拟戰).
