Lily Paradis is a French journalist and documentary maker. She started her career as a reporter for the French newspaper "Le Monde" and later worked for the French public television channel France 2. She created for France 2 the television programs "Les Enfants de la terre" (Children of the Earth), "Pour en finir avec le sida" (Ending AIDS) and "L'Éveil des peuples" (Awakening of the Peoples). She also made two documentaries on Nelson Mandela: "Mandela, un héritage africain" (Mandela, an African Legacy) and "Dans l'ombre de Mandela"
The latter was broadcast in France on TF1 in December 2001.
