Lida Sideris was born in Athens in 1972. She completed her studies in philosophy at the University of Athens in 1997, and in 2004, she completed her PhD thesis in aesthetics at the University of California, Berkeley. She is currently a professor of English language and literature at the Hellenic Open University. Lida Sideris is the director of the Greek literary journal Diacoi
