Kouhei Kadono is a Japanese mangaka. He was born in Osaka in 1983. He started his career as a freelance artist for the educational comic "Kouya no Fuujin Ryouiki" (Fuujin's Travel Journal) published by Mag Garden, and later moved to Tokyo where he worked for the online webcomic "Bakuman." He debuted as a manga author with "Hidamari no Kuni" (The Country of the Hill) in 2004 and has since then serialized and published many other works, and won many awards.
