Johnny Cash was an American singer-songwriter, musician, actor, and author. Raised in extreme poverty in South East Oklahoma, he exhibited an extraordinary artistic talent at a young age. Cash wrote hundreds of songs recorded, mostly with his band the Tennessee Two, including "Folsom Prison Blues", "I Walk the Line", "Ring of Fire", "Man in Black" and "Get Rhythm". He also recorded two duets with June Carter on his 1981 album "One Piece at a Time"
Cash made personal appearances until his death in 2003.
