John Frusciante is the guitarist and one of the founding members of the American rock band Red Hot Chili Peppers. He is also an acclaimed producer, songwriter, and solo artist. After graduating from Fairfax High School in Los Angeles, Frusciante attended California Institute of the Arts where he studied film scoring with composer John Williams, who was impressed by his musical abilities. The album included a duet with Aniston "You're So Damn Hot". He released his second solo album "John Frusciante" in 2005 which he recorded primarily at his home studio in Los Angeles. The album features a variety of collaborations with various musicians including Flea, Will Ferrell, Josh Klinghoffer and Tony Kanal from the Red Hot Chili Peppers.
In 2008 Frusciante released "The Empyrean", a collaborative album with Josh Klinghoffer that was recorded primarily at Klinghoffer's studio in Colorado. The record gained critical acclaim from many music critics for its unique sound and was named one of the best albums of 2008 by Rolling Stone magazine. In 2011 Frusciante collaborated with Josh Klinghoffer on a new album titled "Sketches for My Sweetheart the Drunk" which was produced by both artists and released on March 31st 2011.
