Joëlle Marie Tempesta is a writer, artist, and performer living in Toronto. She has written a variety of books, including the novels The Bone Witch and The Hangman's Daughter and a collection of novellas entitled Sing Your Song. She has been published in numerous anthologies, magazines, and journals, including Strange Horizons, Strange Horizons, Strange Horizons, Strange Horizons, Fantasy Magazine, Tor.com/science fiction magazine, and Wormwood: A Magazine of the Fantastic. She has won numerous awards for her work as a critic and critic-at-large for CBC Radio's Ideas program. Joëlle is also a musician who has released two albums under the name Cellar Darling as well as a number of singles and EPs on a wide variety of different labels.
