Jennifer Shirk is the author of the award-winning The Young Man from Everywhere series, a companion to her award-winning YA fantasy novels about a young man named Zai who leaves his home in the faraway country of Kashkadat to travel to a magical land called Tarras. Her short story collection, The Other Shore, won a 2012 RWA RITA Award for Best Short Fiction Collection.
