Jean-Pierre Jeunet is one of the most highly awarded French directors. He graduated from the Paris institute of the National School of Cinema (ENSC - Institut National de la Cinématographie et de l'image Animée), where he studied film direction. Jeunet's first feature film was "Delicatessen", which he wrote, directed and produced. His second feature was "The City of Lost Children"
After that, Jeunet made "Alien: Resurrection", “Amelie” and “The Young and Prodigious T.S. Spivet”. Jeunet also produced the movie “La Haine” (Hate), starring Mathieu Kassovitz, who won an Oscar for Best Actor in 2002.
