Jean Shinoda Bolen is a neuroanthropologist, author, poet, and mother of five. She is the author of numerous books on the spiritual dimensions of human relationships and has recently published "The Unknown God: A Soul Journey to the Heart of Ancient Truth," a guide to the inner teachings of the World Religions. Her work has been described as "advancing the conversation about what we know about God and how we live in light of that knowledge." She was also a Fellow at Harvard Divinity School and did graduate work at Stanford University and Oxford University. She is a regular contributor to "The Huffington Post," "Sojourners" magazine, "USA Today," and other publications. Jean lives with her husband in New Mexico where she conducts workshops on the philosophy and theology of creation, invites people to participate in sacred ritual, and teaches them how to become more aware of their own divinity within creation.
