Jean Hamilton-Fford is a Canadian novelist, poet, journalist and broadcaster. Her 25-year career in journalism included diverse writing assignments, including editor of "The Toronto Sun" and "The Globe and Mail". In her memoirs, "What if I Loved You?" she describes her work in the newsroom and at the National Arts Centre, and in her novel "The Gift" she writes about her early years as a journalist in Montreal. She has also published two books of poetry: "Nocturnes," in 1998 and "Revolutions," in 2003
Jean Hamilton-Fford lives in Toronto, Ontario with her husband Mark Reidy, who is a journalist.
