Jason Alexander was born on June 13, 1966 in New York City. He grew up in Brooklyn and attended DeWitt Clinton High School. He won two letters in basketball while also playing on the soccer and tennis teams. Alexander's first break came when he became the youngest actor to play the title role in "Dracula." His career continued to skyrocket until he starred in "Seinfeld" for nine years. Alexander became a household name after the show ended its run in 1998.
He also played other roles in films such as "The First Wives Club," "Hanging with the Homeboys," and "A Bunch of Amateurs." He married actress/comedian Julia Roberts on March 3, 1999; they have three children: daughters Daisy Mae (born December 7, 2000) and Violet (born January 31, 2003) and son Samuel Jason Alexander (born November 2, 2004).
