Jada Berglund was born in Kiruna, Sweden. She has worked with disadvantaged children for many years. Her interest in the field of social work led her to pursue a MPhil in Social Work at the University of Gothenburg. She has since worked for several non-profit organizations in both the US and Sweden, including Save the Children Sweden, Save the Children USA, and Save the Children UK (formerly known as Merlin)
Jada is also an Adjunct Professor at California State University–Long Beach.
