Isla Fisher was born on March 18, 1986 in London, England. She spent her early years in Ireland and took her first acting role at the age of 11. She made her film debut with the 1991 John Schlesinger-directed film "Blame It on the Bellboy" and became a star in 1993 with the release of "Shallow Grave", a British horror comedy.
