She studied Art Therapy at Illinois State University and received her Masters degree from Loyola University’s School of Professional Psychology. Her interest in psychology led her to teach at Northwestern University’s Center for Personality Research and Development and then became an instructor at Loyola University’s School of Social Service Administration where she taught courses on personality development and motivation. She began her career as a marriage therapist with her own practice, The Relationship Center, Inc., where she helped individuals and couples overcome relationship issues such as infidelity, anger management, intimacy problems, communication issues and many other issues.
