Harold Camping was born in 1928 in Portland, Oregon. He became an evangelist at the age of 18 and eventually made his way to Los Angeles where he founded the Christian Research Institute, which has become an influential non-profit organization. He is the author of many books on faith and discipleship including The Seven Laws of Success, The Unseen Power, The Power of Prayer, The Power Of Fasting, Secrets of the Harvest, The Missing Peace, and The Greatest Story Never Told.
