G.S.Sreekiran is an Indian author and the winner of the Femina Best First Book Award, for his novel The City of Devi, in 2008. Sreekiran's second book, The Blue Lady, was released in 2009. He has also written several nonfiction books and worked as a literary critic in the media. He was the editor in chief of The Sunday Mail and has been a columnist and contributor to several publications in Chennai and Delhi
