Gregg Korrol is a novelist and a former columnist for the Chicago Sun-Times. He has been published in numerous publications, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, and The Washington Post. His first novel, "I Am the Night," was named an honor book by Foreword Magazine and was shortlisted for the James Jones First Novel Prize. His second novel, "The Drop," was a finalist for the American Booksellers Association Indies Choice Award and was named one of Oprah's Favorite Books of 2006
He lives in Chicago with his wife and two children.
