His art combines elements of psychedelic art with traditional Japanese ink-wash painting in a distinctive style. He has collaborated with musicians in the world music genre, including Michael Hedges (famed guitarist), John Abercrombie (guitarist), Steve Nieve (bassist), Kevin Breit (bassist), Jeff Suffa (keyboardist), Mike Ringer (saxophonist), Robby Krieger (guitarist for The Doors), Ricky Phillips (session drummer for The Beach Boys), Louis Cennamo (saxophonist for David Bowie's Young Americans) and many others.
