Franco Bifo Berardi is an Italian psychoanalyst, philosopher, and the director of the Laboratory of Experimental Psychohistory at the University of California at Los Angeles. He is a professor in the Department of Psychoanalysis and History of Consciousness at UCLA. In 2004 he was appointed foreign member of the Accademia dei Lincei (Italy's Academy of Science), and he is also member of the French Academy of Sciences, the American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and the Royal Society (London). His research interests include time-binding literature, philosophy of science, philosophy of technology, critical theory, history of psychology, psychoanalysis, psychoanalysis and culture.
